Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 1-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

USPS has officially announced the restriction of Vape Mail on October 21. Moving forward, all orders will be shipped out with X Delivery and Local Regional Carriers.

If you are located in the Midwest U.S., estimated shipping time frame is 2 to 7 business days. For the rest of the country, it can take up to 8 business days longer than the usual delivery times.

Coverage will be limited in the initial rollout and we may not be able to serve our entire customer base due to logistical constraint or lack of regional carrier service. However, as the carrier’s coverage expands, we will make sure shipping services are made available as soon as possible so hang on tight. Shipping options, costs, and coverage area will be made available during the checkout process.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

PACT and Our Plans

The “Preventing Online Sales of E-Cigarettes to Children Act” was buried in the massive Omnibus spending bill and signed into law on December 27, 2020. Among other things, this law mandates:

  • Sellers must collect all state and tribal excise taxes
  • Purchasers must present a 21+ adult ID to delivery drivers
  • The postal service must create a rule prohibiting shipments of vapor products
  • While not required by law, UPS, FedEx, and DHL have also announced prohibition of shipments

There are a few alternative options for receiving your packages:

  • If you are at home, great! You can sign for your package!
  • If you are not at home, your USPS carrier will leave a notice slip on your door with instructions for alternative options.
  • You can open a P.O. Box at your local USPS location, and you (or a 21+ adult who lives at your address) will still need to show a valid photo ID to a clerk and sign for the package there.
  • You can request that USPS deliver your package to a local pickup where you (or a 21+ adult who lives at your address) can get it at your leisure by showing the clerk a valid photo ID and signing. Customers can make this request on the USPS website with your tracking information.

Basically, there is no way around the adult signature requirement, but there are options to make it work for you. ZiipStock is not going anywhere, and we are working around the clock to find more shipping alternatives so we can continue serving you as best we can. In the meantime, we recommend stocking up before the new taxes hit and staying tuned for more updates as we learn more.

We already cannot ship via FedEx and UPS from April 5th

DHL stops accepting shipments on March 26, 2021.

As a government agency the USPS must go through a formal rule-making process. They published their proposed rule on 02/19/2021 and were accepting public comments until 03/22/2021. While they signaled that the final rule may take effect immediately upon publication with no grace period, there is no telling when it will get published. We are operating in “sudden death” now.

We have been working dilligently to put together our own distribution network of smaller regional couriers. Unfortunately far more are saying “no” than are saying “yes”. Our prospective map at this time covers 70% of customers, but we will continue working to cover at least 95% of customers in the future. Some rural addresses or locations outside the contiguous United States may be difficult or impossible to serve.

Shipping times will be slower. Shipping prices will be higher. Things will likely be rough at first while we work out the issues. Our integrated tracking tool is not yet ready as we have been focused on critical “day one” problems.
